hello all
If Anna is interested in following this up and for others intersted in the whole awful IAPT thing it may be interesting to look at this presentation - which is from the team officially evaluating IAPT - which was presented at a conference at the end of last year (altho I didn't go) Some of the comments quoted were quite chilling to me.Particularly interesting was the difference between the participants' definition of recovery and the"psychometric" definition - which is widely and uncritically quoted. Also it is interesting that the quantitative data is "not yet ready for dissemination" I wonder why not?
I wonder if there is any way of obtaining the original data from this study and reanalysing from another perspective?

Well I guess if it was me I'd do something specifically about IAPT which
is probably one of our best current examples of therapy as social control.
