I think it may have been the Daily Telegraph.

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know the UK paper that featured or features an editorial
page called, "Way of the World"? I'm trying to properly cite a "think
piece" from 1966 on West Indian expatriation.....

I can help with one name, Peter Thompson, who was head of outside
broadcasts for many years through the 50s and 60s at BBC Scotland -
although in 1951 he might have held a slightly lower position.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Re: [BBC-HISTORY] more mysterious names
Everyone,
It's me again, attempting to indentify a few names within my notes.
Please see the attached memo. While I surely know who Goldie, Noordhof,
Kennish and Swallow are, I'm unclear on the others, and their
significance.
Can anyone help, please?
Oh, how I wish the BBC would digitize its staff listings....
