Hi Keren and all,
Yes, I've made a map of EC services [1] and Patrick at CM is currently collating the information on AAC services and this will be published on the website (currently [2]) and mapped eventually. CM is also doing work to look at AAC service standards.
This ties in with the exciting research funding that CM has obtained to look into this area [3]. Sheffield and Barnsley are leading on the mapping and incidence parts of the work and so we will hope to have some comprehensive resources online when this starts.
Any input/service listings are welcome in the mean time!
Cheers,
Simon

Thanks Stephen, Donna, and others offline, for the information - have passed this on. Makes me think that a service mapping would be good but as Simon probably can verify a bit of a beast to keep up to date (you've done one for Communication Aid services haven't you Simon).
Anyway, cheers everyone. Keren

Dear Steve
Locally the telecare provider is [log in to unmask] There is no specific EATS that I'm aware of. ECS are done from Gillingham and Chailey Heritage has a bioengineering service that is primarily for children but deals with complex switch access and may be prepared to help.
I've copied this e-mail to their chief engineer in case she has any other ideas or is aware of other resources.
Regards
Steve
