Hi everyone,
I've just analyzed a data set comparing a group of neurodegenerative patients and healthy controls in TBSS, using FA.
The results are good, but if anything I sense that there are MORE areas showing lower FA in pts than controls that I would
expect. Many of these are expected, but not all. So I'm a bit suspicious of the results. Particularly as most TBSS papers I've read seem to find pretty focused differences.
I've seen on the list that TBSS may be susceptible to partial voluming effects. This data was collected with
large voxel sizes (3.0mm), and I'm wondering if that might explain some of the results, and if there's any way to
assess that.
I know its odd to complain about finding too many results, but just trying to be safe.
Best,
Graeme
