The last of the three disaster response and salvage training events organised
by the Preservation Advisory Centre and Research Libraries UK is to be held in
Leeds (Brotherton Library, University of Leeds) on 25th January.
Training is offered as half day sessions (morning or afternoon) and places are
limited due to the practical exercises involved.
The sessions are led by Emma Dadson of Harwell Document Restoration
Services. Participants will come away with an understanding of immediate
response techniques and experience of handling water-damaged collections
including books, documents and microfilm.
