SAS Programmer Opportunity for Epidemiology Studies - Global Pharma
We are currently recruiting for an experienced SAS programmer to work on epidemiology studies for a leading pharmaceutical company based in the South East/London area of the UK. Working as part of a team, you will be involved in the provision of statistical programming support for worldwide studies and research projects looking at disease history and drug safety.
In this position as an Epidemiology Database Analyst, you will primarily use your experience of SAS BASE, SAS STAT and SAS GRAPH to work on database research projects developing and testing SAS programs for the analysis and reporting of database studies.
To be eligible for consideration you will come with a postgraduate qualification in epidemiology, statistics or a related subject and have previous experience in a SAS Programming position within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally working on epidemiology studies and working with large and complex datasets. You should also have proven skills in SAS BASE, STAT, GRAPH and SQL and have experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems. Candidates must already possess eligibility to work in the UK.
This opportunity is for a 6 month renewable contract position for which we would be able to offer permanent contracts of employment with i3. This contract is also available to limited company contractors.
