There's an article in Devon and Cornwall Notes and Queries 'New Light on
DGC' which discusses the Phillips papers including the notebook.
Infuriatingly, my photocopy has cut of the end of the article so any
references are missing. However, others on this list who subscribe to
DCNQ may be able to help.
The reference is DCNQ Vol xxxm vii (p,1830)
