Our local PCT is trying to ensure that where a complaint letter, eg.
one received through ICAS on behalf of a patient involves several
parts of the NHS, the replies from those parts go to the PCT which
then co-ordinates (writes) a single response to the complainant.
This sounds logical in some ways.
They are also trying to prevent any individual part of the NHS (GP,
practice, OOH body, etc etc.) sending anything directly to the patient.
I know my views, and you can probably guess them.
Do others have thoughts on this?
