We run UCTs code: the turnitin <-> Sakai integration is fairly minimal but nevertheless very useful. iParadigm are (I think) also developing an integration for a new version of the Assignments tool.

| You may have already seen this, don't know if it includes the "recent"
| anonymous marking ability:
|
| 'Currently, there is no integration with Sakai that has been developed
| by the makers of Turnitin. Developers from the University of Cape Town
| used Turnitin's publicly available API to create an integration. This
| integration is available from the Sakai Confluence pages. This
| integration is not directly supported by Turnitin. This plugin will
| allow users to use the Turnitin's plagiarism prevention functionality
| as an option for the built-in Sakai assignment tool.'

|
| yes we use Turnitin, but the submission needs to be done through sakai
| (as this is where all other course material is located and where the
| tutors collect the essay from).

| | This is something that turnitin (plagiarism deterent software) can be
| | used for. There is an integration module for this for moodle and
| | blackboard I don't know about other VLE systems
