Dear all
As we review the year, what are the big RM Stories that come to mind locally and globally?
For example, the Baby Peter case had a huge impact on social workers and there was/is an RM issue around emails being destroyed and or deleted by OFSTEDM
Another is Climategate where records were altered and or destroyed to avoid disclosure.
A further one was the MP expenses with records being examined and publicized.
A final one is the case in loughbrough where records were not retained for more than two years so an accurate picture did not develop.
I realize that each of these is uk based and has various other elements that dominate, such as social care, or data protection, or FOI, but what strikes me about them are that RM is a constant throughout.
I am sure there are others, as well as RM success stories, so I would be interested in your top stories.
Best
Lawrence
