TFPL is pleased to announce the first conference of the highly successful

passionate about the positive impact of knowledge and information. The
conference will be held at the Berystede Hotel in Ascot, where delegates
will be able to work, debate and extend their business networks in
comfortable and stylish surroundings.
Date: 24 – 25 March 2010
Venue: The Berystede Hotel & Spa, Ascot, Berkshire, UK
Price: £950 plus VAT – Delegate package is inclusive of conference, one
night accommodation and conference dinner
Special discount: 10% discount will be given to all bookings made by the 29
January 2010.
Our theme is ‘Connecting for the future’ and the underlying focus is on the
contribution of knowledge and information management to the success of
organisations in the emerging ‘new’ economy. The programme reviews ideas
about the future: economic realities, new organisational models, technical
developments. The programme includes excellent speakers, facilitated
discussion and an interactive working session, unique to TFPL conferences.
The outcomes of the conference will be summarised in an executive report for
delegates.
Our opening keynote speaker is Tim Harford, The Undercover Economist, who is
a columnist for the Financial Times and a presenter on BBC Radio 4.
The event will include the IDOX Social Impact Awards, an Award launched in
2008. The Awards are recognition of the innovative use of Knowledge and
Information Management (KIM) in the voluntary sector. The finalists will be
in attendance and bring a valuable dimension to the conference.
