Some research done a couple of years ago by Practical Action concluded
that people really aren't that bothered about climate change so maybe
the figures are a true reflection of what the public really think.
Referring to the research in a response to the exhibition Practical
Action's comms director writes 'People talked the talk, they thought the
climate was changing but they didn't want their lives to change, they
hoped the weather here could be a bit nicer, they still wanted to enjoy
life's luxuries and above all they still wanted lots of travel'.

The problem with the Prove It! exhibition is that to vote you don't have
to
go to the museum or even look at the evidence. You can go straight to
the
website and click a button to vote one way or the other! Obviously it
doesn't take much organisation to wreck the vote.
