Dear Colleagues
Can anyone help with identifying the following two references please? They
are proving very elusive.
Not sure if they are articles in newspapers, chapters or separate
publications. I don't expect them to be available for loan but if they could
be photocopied that would be most acceptable. Usual details will be
supplied.
>A Collection of New Songs Sung by Mr Beard, Miss Stevenson, and Miss
Fromantel (Catherine Fourmantel) at Ranelagh.
London, 1760..
>Ten Favourite Songs sung by Miss Fromantel at Ranelagh, Music by Mr Oswald.
London :, 1759..
(Source is 'A biographical dictionary of actors, actresses, musicians,
dancers, managers & other stage personnel in London, 1660-1800; by P.H.
Highfill, K.A. Burnim and E.A. Langhans')
Thanks in anticipation but not a lot of hope
Regards
Margaret Dillon
