Makes sense to me.
If it were I, I'd change it in the wiki. It is in the nature of wiki's that
if the change is wrong it will be changed back. Honest, the devs prefer
that changes are made rather than no changes are made at all. The wiki is a
community resource but it needs community input...

Subject: Re: releasing just one value of an attribute
Addendum:
There may be an error in the documentation at
https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/SHIB2/IdPAddAttributeFilter, which
reads:
<PermitValueRule xsi:type="basic:OR">
<Rule xsi:type="basic:AttributeValueString" value="faculty"
ignoreCase="true"/>
...
<Rule xsi:type="basic:AttributeValueString"
value="library-walk-in" ignoreCase="true"/>
</PermitValueRule>
I believe this should have basic:Rule not just Rule as in my example:
<PermitValueRule xsi:type="basic:OR">
<basic:Rule xsi:type="basic:AttributeValueString"
value="E-ResourcesAdmins" ignoreCase="true" />
<basic:Rule xsi:type="basic:AttributeValueString"
value="somethingElse" ignoreCase="true" />
</PermitValueRule>
I tried it, missing out the basic: and it generates an error.
