Thanks to 5 year funding from the Big Lottery GMCDP will set up a new project supporting young disabled people aged 15 to 25 in Greater Manchester. The project aims to establish Forums where young people can give and receive peer support, attend training courses, share information, act as consultants to other organisations and offer training to parents and service providers.
Project Manager: responsible for the management and development of the project, taking the lead on all strategic work Hours 35 per week: Salary £22,384.
Youth Participation Worker: responsible for supporting participants to be fully involved in the project and access mainstream youth services/activities.
Hours 35 per week: salary £19,676.
These posts are only open to disabled people and are subject to an enhanced CRB check.
