Hi Aejaz,
Well, Maavis aims to do just these things and is avaliable now (and should run on most (all?) PCs). Currently there is a switch accessible version. It is still, however in a pre-release version - i.e. you need a bit of technical know-how to get it going, documentation isn't perfect and it is still being worked on. That said, you'll probably be able to get it to do what you want and can always post ideas/requests to the mailing list...

Subject: FYI: Software for the SimplicITy computers
Hi all
I've been looking into simplified computing environments lately for some of our clients. Many of you probably already know of the SimplicITy (Linux based) project that has been in the news recently. FYI, here is a link for the software that it uses called the ELDY:
http://www.eldy.eu
Not sure how easy it will be to incorporate AT with this set up but they are releasing a Windows version very soon. Has anyone out there used the Simplicity computers with their clients? Any further news on the MAAVIS release Simon?
Cheers,
Aejaz
