Lecturer in Statistics (2 posts)
Salary: From £ 40,123 - £46,477 per annum inclusive
Applications are invited for 2 Lectureships in the Department of Statistics
at the London School of Economics: one position will be in an area of
Probability related to Insurance and Finance, and the other will be in
Statistics. The posts are tenable from 1st September 2010, or shortly after.
Applicants should hold a doctorate in Statistics or related subjects, or
expect to hold
such a degree in the near future, and should have a proven record of high
quality
research and publications or clear potential to produce high quality
publications.
Candidates should be capable of teaching both undergraduate courses and
Postgraduate courses in statistics and/or actuarial science.
