With reduced distance between wall and wc there is a problem that the
Handbasin prevents a"headon" approach by male wheelchair users who wish
to use the wc as a Urinal.
In the past, I have also received a complaint from a double amputee when
unable to line up straight on due to the fitting of a wide handbasin.
This prevenrted him having "head on" access which allows him to shunt
forward off his wheelchair to use the toilet facing the cistern.
