Just catching up here.... All of the prints will be eventually done on a
fibre based media and fully selenium toned which will send the colour
toward a purple-brown. Selenium toning is a traditional part of black
and white prints, but usually only enough to make the blacks darker on
the grounds this increases the archival life of the print. Recent
research indicates full toning is needed to extend the life of the
print. So I am trying to guess using GIMP what these may look like and
hopefully work as art prints.
Working in media arts using an old fashioned monorail and silver gelatin
may make me a newer media artist (thanks to Allan Soundheim for this
suggestion.)
