(with apologies for cross-posting)
The Institute for Transport Studies (ITS) at the University of Leeds will be
holding a 2-day training course on Stated Preference (SP) Methods on 23-24th
March 2010.
The course will introduce delegates to the design of SP surveys and the
subsequent analysis of the data using discrete choice models. The course
will look at various design techniques, ranging from orthogonal to more
efficient designs. The course is suitable for all those interested in
developing skills to examine choice behaviour and does not require prior SP
experience. The examples and exercises will focus primarily on a transport
context, but the skills developed are widely applicable across other sectors.
The teaching staff for this course will consist of Dr Stephane Hess and
Professor Mark Wardman (both ITS Leeds) and Mr Rob Sheldon (Accent Market
Research).
Please forward this announcement to colleagues, your students or others who
may be interested. Bookings made by UTSG mailing list subscribers before
15th January 2010 will be eligible for a preferential rate of £400.
