Hello Everyone,
This Saturday we kick off another in our series of on-line seminars for the
BERA Mentoring and Coaching group. If you haven't joined in before it's
easy! On Saturday, I post a paper for discussion from the following week's
seminar leader, a brief cv from our convenor and between one and three
questions he or she would like us to focus on for the week. Then on Monday
the discussion begins - giving everyone a couple of days reading time (as
long as the convenor can get the paper to me by Saturday morning). The
seminars are open to non BERA members as well as members and we run them on
the Mentoring-Coaching discussion list at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk (You'll
need to join that list in order to post any discussion points).
This coming week I am delighted to announce Jean Rath from Oxford University
is convenor.
Why not volunteer to run a seminar yourself? Just let me have a recent
piece of your writing & a brief CV, suggest a week when you'd like to run
the seminar (I'll help you) and questions. It occurs to me that the emails
we circulated yesterday on this list indicate a potential topic?!
Warm regards,
Sarah
