The little kitten I treated for heat stroke and dehydration yesterday is
alive and well and has rejoined the litter. (I Shoulda been a vet.)
Another hot day, bored so I took the temperature of the air emerging
from the air con... a cool 38 degrees C (100F)
More exciting still, I have purchased another camera, a Mamiya RB67
ProSD with 127mm KL lens... very nice 6X7 cm SLR and at low prices
thanks to recession and the fact that Mamiya Cameras are now owned by a
digital back maker for this camera (Quantum, is it... need to check)
Another scorcher tomorrow. Calling for community volunteers to help
fight the fire at Hanging Rocks in the Kaputar National Park. I am more
concerned about the fire to the west in the Piliga forest even if it has
been burnt out a few years ago. Last time I fought a fire in the Piliga
it had a single front of some 160 kms (100 miles.)
best wishes, Chris Jones.
