Dear Linda,
I'd like to be considered for the blogging job! I manage a community
archaeology website (www.thamesdiscovery.org) with a heavy digital bias,
and I train and work with over 200 volunteers who are all slowly being
trained how to use our CMS (Textpattern) to blog on our website. Our
digital project is all about making archaeology accessible through the
web, and blogs play a big part in this. I am interested in how to use
participatory media to work with community groups and make archaeology
accessible...which seems to be the essence of the MCG conference...We have
around 300 visitors to the site a day, which is amazing considering the
size of our project.
If you'd like to know more, please do get in touch
best wishes
Lorna
