Good morning,
I have a requirement for a GIS Administrator, with experience of Highways and
a background within the Public Sector, for a short-term contract based in
London to start on Monday (16th ).
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure the GIS record of changes to the Highway/status is up to date
* Deal with the public over highways enquiries
* Ensure that payment is processed and that the needs of the local Gazeteer
are included in the Exor System.
* Collect and Map statutory Associated Street Data to the Local Street
Gazetteer 7.1 (or any current) Data Transfer Format using Exor, Acolaid and
ArcGIS.
* Liaise with the Street Naming and Numbering Officer to integrate the
elementary Street Unit and Associated Street Data components of the Local
Street
* Gazeteer using Exor, Acolaid and ArcGIS.
* To capture map-based spatial data into the geographic information system
(GIS) using the provided tools. We require a technical support person with GIS
qualifications and/or proven experience in these fields.
Knowledge of the Highways Act including Management of Borough Road
Adoption procedures is also required. If you are available please contact me
