sorry I'm not sure I follow. Could you please be more detailed on what
you did? For instance, I assume you ran several first-level analyses for
each subject. What did you do after that? Did you run one higher-level
analysis for each subject (averaging the first-level analyses), and then
another higher-level analysis averaging all the subjects?
If this is what you did, and if I understand correctly you want to
compare some activation in SubjectA to SubjectB, then you should
probably create a high-level analysis in which you contrast the COPE of
one subject to those of the other. Again, provided my understanding is
correct, this seems to be a two group unpaired comparison you are after.
