I am a long-time fan of "Bev" (the woman who creates the AspergerSquare8
blog) and both her written and artistic works. I agree with Larry that her
blog as a whole deserves attention in the wider disability community and
not only among people with an interest in the Autistic community.
Larry here is pointing particularly to her latest cartoon creation,
"Square Talk Social Model," in which a group of circles (representing
non-disabled people) discuss the social model and a square (representing a
disabled person) attempts to correct their misunderstandings and
misconceptions. It would be a good visual aid for people attempting to
teach the social model.
For people who want a written explanation of the social model that helps
clear up some of the same common misconceptions covered in the cartoon,
there is this blog post by a different blogger:

(I should caution that the Lady Bracknell blog always seems a bit slow to
download. Just give it a moment, it will be worth the wait.)
