Dear all,
With ISMRM submissions out of the way for another year, I wonder if I
can ask you for a minute to consider the UK diffusion web site again.
Many thanks to all who have sent me their details for inclusion on the
site. 28 researchers from the diffusion community are represented
there now [1] - not an overwhelming number, but at least many (most?)
major UK labs have some representation. Details of 341 papers from
over 20 years of diffusion-related research are cached there, with
NeuroImage (61) and MRM (52) being, predictably, the most popular
journals [2].
The aim of setting up the site was to give the group some visibility,
and to provide something to point at in grant applications and so on,
to illustrate the strength of the UK community. I'd be grateful for
any feedback on how useful you see the existing site being for these
purposes, and any suggestions on how it might be more effective. All
suggestions welcome, though I don't promise to act on everything!
Thanks for reading.
All the best,
Jon
P.S. If your details still aren't up, do please send them! An e-mail
giving your consent and including your signature is sufficient
(assuming your contact details are in the signature, obviously ;).
P.P.S. I'm also happy to put up on the home page any relevant news or
announcements that might be of interest to the group. Please send
anything of this kind to [log in to unmask]
