Dear all,
Firstly apologies for the nature of this post in what I know is a mainly
technical mailing list.
I've recently completed an MSc in Environmental Science and I'm keen to work
in the contaminated land industry. I have no direct work experience,
although I did work with a major consultancy on my dissertation, which was
based on non-standard land uses in CLEA v1.04. I'm currently looking for a
graduate position in an environmental consultancy.
Many companies seem to have halted or reduced their graduate intake as a
result of the recession. The economy does seem to be slowly improving, but
does anyone have an idea of the lag before environmental consultancies start
to recruit again? As a recent graduate I would like to know your views on
the outlook for recruitment in contaminated land.
Also if you know of any vacancies I would be very keen to hear about them!
Thanks,
Peter Sheppard
