Dear Ruth,
Unfortunately I cannot reproduce your error. My experiment types are:
HNCACB: H[N[{CA|ca[Cali]}]] HNCOCACB: H[N[co[{CA|ca[C]}]]]
Modulo typing errors that looks the same as yours.
Using the 2.1.2 release I have tried both querying with HNCACB and
matching with HNCOCACB, and the other way around, and both seem to work. I
get matched strips appearing when I select a row in the top table, just as
I should. The 'Find matches' button does not do anything, but that is
because matches are found automatically, on selection. 'Find Matches' is
just a refresh button (and we are renaming it for the next release).
Tim reports having tried with your project and not getting any errors. If
you can tell em exactly (button by button) what you are doing and what is
and is not happening, I can try reproducing it again, with your project.
Alternatively, if you can now proceed with your assignment without trouble
this may be enough for now.
Yours,
Rasmus

It happens both ways around, ie no matter which of these two is set as query (and thus the other as match). It does not happen if only the HNCO and HNCACO are used, or if the carbonyl and alpha/beta data sets are used in parallel, only when the alpha/betas are used alone. Not sure if I have set something up wrongly in the alpha/beta experiments?

As far as I can tell all the parameters for this spectrum are the same as for the others, but is there something stupid I have overlooked? Or is there something else going on?
