Richard,
I think it's a wonderful idea. It helps us to place faces, and foci with the names, and creates possibilities for future collaborations.
Bravo!

Hi everyone,
Sorry for these emails to appear to some like spam, that is certainly
not my intention. I started the website Academia.edu about a year
ago, and now am trying to show the product to other academics to get
feedback and hopefully fulfill a need for them. There are currently
15 members of the listserv BBC-History in the group BBC-History at
Academia.edu, so hopefully people are enjoying the website. I have
been mailing other mailing lists as well as mentioned, and so far
4,106 people have become new users. Hopefully people are not annoyed
by this email or others, that is the last of my intentions; and
hopefully people enjoy the website!
Kind regards,
Richard
