A thorough understanding of statistical principles and issue of meta-analysis.  The course will be invaluable for all those involved in meta-analysis of pharmaceuticals, whether as consumer or producer, or working for sponsor, regulator, contract research organisation or academia.

Presenting Data - 10 December 2009 - London (Ed Swires-Hennessy)

Is the foundation of all presentations of statistical information.  The basic principles of presenting information tables, charts, maps and text are explained. These are illustrated and then reinforced through practical exercises.

The Royal Statistical Society (RSS) launched its Professional Development Centre (PDC) in January 2007 with the aim of providing training courses to enhance the provision of continuing professional development for statisticians and users of statistics.



At the PDC we consult with statisticians throughout the RSS and training managers in organisations where many staff use statistics on a daily basis as an integral part of their work, to put together a programme which responds to identified needs.
