Dear Allstat
This is a reminder that PSI are offering the chance to hear the following 3-hour course, conducted in May 2009, prior to the PSI Annual Conference.
Bayesian Hierarchical Models by Professor Andy Grieve (Kings College, London)
1 October to 31 December 2009
Using Adobe Presenter, the system allows total flexibility: the slides onscreen, with audio through your PC, can be paused, replayed, or advanced by the user.
For £85, you can access the course as often as you like while the course is online. It is separated into 6 accessible sections of 15 to 60 minutes each.
Course Summary:
This short course provides an introduction to the specification, fitting, and checking of hierarchical, or multilevel models, from a Bayesian perspective. The basic principles of Bayesian hierarchical modelling are reviewed, with emphasis on practical rather than theoretical issues. All the ideas are illustrated with real data drawn from case studies, and WinBUGS is used to illustrate the analyses.
Member and non-members can enrol for the course online
