Dear all,
Booking to open
We can now confirm that we intend to open booking for HLG 2002 at The
Lowry in Manchester at the end of January. This will be in time for
those of you who are able to, to get the fees paid in this financial
year. Nearer the time, we will send out further details of the
conference venue, conference dinner, conference programme and about the
Manchester area itself.
We hope to see many of you there.
Last 2 weeks!
There are now just 2 weeks left until the deadline to submit abstracts
for presentations at HLG 2010. If you haven't submitted an abstract
already, there is still time to put an application together. We've had a
lot of interest and some very interesting and diverse submissions so
far, but we're still asking for more, so why not give it a try? The
deadline is Monday 30th November 2009.
Suggestions for topics include:
- Gaining and keeping a higher profile
- Collaboration
- Use of Information Technology
- Evidence-based librarianship
However we will be delighted to receive abstracts on topics other than
these suggestions or feel free to contact us if you would like to
discuss your proposal.
