A very quick straw poll if I may (will summarise for the list).
* Has Facebook use been banned or restricted in some way in your
HE library/learning centre?
* If no, has it ever been suggested? Or are you considering it?
* If yes, has it caused any problems or negative reactions?
* Feel free to expand on your answers!
The query arises as a result of a suggestion coming, I believe from our
Student Union, that the Library be made a 'Facebook free zone' - a
suggestion I'm not entirely comfortable with, and it would be really
useful to get a sense of where other HE libraries/learning centres stand
on this issue (if indeed it is an issue for you).
Thank you for any responses (direct to me please).
