Essay competition - The EIA and Europe Direct Leeds are running a student essay competition, with a £200 prize, on the theme 'Communicating Europe: Is the EU getting through to you?'
Conference - Our 2010 annual meeting will take place at the British Library on Monday 22 March. The day will include presentations on what to expect from the new EU, developments in EU information, and the Commission's information priorities.
Publications - A 'Starting Point' on climate change has just been added to the Publications section of our website. All our Starting Point, Profile and How To guides have been updated to take account of changes to Europa, Eurostat and other websites. Publications are free of charge to EIA Members; non-members can buy them as pdf files.
On the web - 1989-2009: Europe, whole and free. 'Discover', 'Celebrate', 'Remember' are the three main sections of this site, created to celebrate 20 years of European integration following the fall of the Iron Curtain.
