* To develop personal awareness and to consider the effects of personal behaviour on
others.
* To consider what coaching is, and is not, and practise appropriate skills.
* To examine the discomfort of conflict and develop awareness how compromise can be made
to work.
* To identify the elements that lead to successful team-working
* To consider the importance of managerial style on effective delegation.
Comments from previous attendees
"Course was enjoyable and put over the skills needed through role play and activities. I
think this helps to absorb the facts better than someone just talking at you all day.
Video was good – demonstrated skills in practice."
"Taking away techniques that I hope to put into practice straight away, with regard to
delegation and coaching skills."
