Dear APHE members,
The National Media Museum is currently reviewing its offer to students and
lecturers of photography in Higher Education. It is specifically interested in
enabling greater access to the Photography Collection and in developing
structured and themed activities, alongside access to associated resources.
As you may know, the Photography Collection at the National Media Museum is
kept in Insight: Collections & Research Centre. Access is currently offered
daily via free guided tours. We would, however, like to expand this offer to
better cater for the needs of the sector.
A questionnaire to help us gauge the requirements and preferences of the
sector has been produced, and is attached to this message. Some
questionnaires have also been send out via regular post - you may have
recieved one via this route.
I would be most grateful if you could find a few moments to complete the
questionnaire, either in it's paper or electronic format, and to return it to me
either in the freepost envelope included in the pack, or via email to
[log in to unmask] If possible I would appreciate replies
by 30th November, so that I can start analysing the returned data in
December.
If you have any feedback or thoughts that are not covered by the questions
please do not hesitate to include them in the ‘other suggestions' section. All
responses and comments will be very gratefully received.
A small brochure has also been produced, featuring some key images from the
Collection. If you would like a copy of the brochure please don't hesitate to let
me know and I will happily post a copy to you.
With kindest regards,
Jo
