I think people could say that their moral rights as authors have been infringed,
since they have been quoted out of context and with no acknowledgement to the
original source or to the individuals concerned. It also does say in the TOS
that the source should be quoted, so it looks like those have been infringed
too.
I really do think that we should complain about this, because it is poor
journalism, which shouldn't really have got through subediting with this
complete lack of names or source (so I wouldn't just blame the journalist), and
it really is not on with (in particular) the *THES* that has articles about
academic integrity!
I think a letter to the Editor is in order - I don't know whether JISC would
officially get involved? We'd have to get the evidence together properly
(original compared with her article).
