Hi Bruce-
There is the laughable "Cromwell" (1970), directed by Ken Hughes and
starring Richard Harris as Cromwell and Alex Guinness as Charles.
There is also 2003's "To Kill a King" (Rupert Everett as Charles and
Tim Roth as Cromwell), but I have not seen it.
I also think I saw something recently in which a miniseries was being
made (or already has been made) about Cromwell. But I can't recall the
series title.
All the best,
Mitch Harris
