I am currently working as a digital archivist at Kings College, London on the
JISC funded PEKin digital preservation project. We are focussing on research
records and administrative records including estates, student and committee
records.
I am compiling a list of committees that should submit their electronic
agendas, minutes and papers for continuing preservation. From a records
management perspective, we would like to make this record set as
comprehensive as possible but are debating the archival value of such a wide
set of documents when our current paper archival record only comprises
Council, Academic Board and some financial papers.
Would any other academic institutions be willing to share their experiences
with us here at Kings?
