LLUK would like to invite you to participate in an online consultation to
contribute to the refinement of the newly developed draft qualifications
strategy for Libraries, Archives and Information Services. The strategy relates
in particular to QCF qualifications for those working in an “Assistant” role in
England, Wales and Northern Ireland, but also includes proposals relating to
the future development of qualifications for Scotland.
The new qualifications will replace the existing level 2 &3 qualifications and be
available for use in 2010. The consultation is open to anyone with an interest
in qualifications in LAIS from across the UK.
