Hello Magnus,
3 weeks ago we tested about 12 different digital recorders in 5
different settings and try to figure out which one is the best
recorder available right now (between 80 and 450 Euro). We have uploaded the
testrecordings and write down our results after a "blind" hearing. The
complete review is located here:
http://www.audiotranskription.de/vergleichstest-digitaler-rekorder.htm
It is written completly in german language (perhaps the google
translation service would be a possiblity for all english users). If
not, just hear the test recordings and you will get a good idea of the
recording quality of each recorder in the same situation - use a
headphone and not only the notebook speakers!
Rough speaking: Winner: Olympus LS-11 and Tascam DR-100 Best price:
Olympus DM-550
The Edirol sounds very poor in contrast to these ones.
Best regards
Thorsten
