HI Jamie,
I'm not sure about NVIVO, but we use MaxQDA on our Macs running in a virtual system and that works fine.

Subject: Using NVIVO on Mac computers?
Hello list,
I'm curious if anyone has experience using NVIVO on a mac?
The two options, since there is no native mac version of the software,
seem to be Boot Camp or a virtual environment. Boot Camp doesn't seem
like a very good option to me, since it makes flipping back and forth
between NVIVO and my word or other docs I'm working on difficult. As
for the virtualPC-type options ("parallels," etc), some people at my
department warned me that NVIVO might be too resource intensive to run
in this way...
I've actually been thinking of getting a cheap, small PC such as a
Dell on which I could run only NVIVO. Then as I'd work on my mac I'd
have NVIVO running beside me on another computer...seems cumbersome
though.
Cheers,
