Hi all!
I am part of a social science research project, where we need to get a
few audio recorders for our field work, or, perhaps, small video
cameras. So now I wonder:
First, are there any suggestions for good (small but excellent sound
quality) recorders for interviews and meetings?
Secondly, suggestions for small video cameras suitable for this type of
fieldwork (interviews, observations of meetings etc)?
Budget is not very important here, but quality and ease of use is. Data
is to be moved to computers and transcribed/analyzed/coded by programs
such as transana/transcriber, and Nvivo.
Any suggestions and concrete experiences very welcome.
