Dear All,
I have noticed a surge in requests for articles/chapters etc recently. Strictly speaking this is an activity that breaches copyright and could result in the (public) list being closed down. I completely empathise with those with limited access, it is understandably frustrating to be denied access to that essential article that happens to be in a journal that your institution doesn't subscribe to. However, this is what Inter Library Loans are for. Also, I have found that even if an article isn't available through my institution's library portal, I can still sometimes get it through a Google Scholar search (often the author will have a pdf on their site).
So I am going to have to be really strict (as I am sure none of us want this list to disappear!) and ask that there are no more article requests.
