Beowulf 1000 at The British Library 2009
A four-day celebration of the magnificent Anglo Saxon epic Beowulf in
performance, readings, discussion, family events and workshops, together with
a new display of the world’s only surviving manuscript, now 1000 years old and
one of the greatest treasures of the British Library collection.

Beowulf Family Day

A special half-term day of workshops, activities and storytelling taking its
theme from the eipc that is Beowulf.
Beowulf: The Epic in Performance with Benjamin Bagby

Join Benjamin Bagby for a one-man tour de force that gives a rare chance to
experience Beowulf as it might have been heard 1000 years ago.
