So if her own sat nav has broken that she has presumably paid for herself why can't she buy herself
a new sat nav. I am guessing that at interview she declared her dyslexia but said it was okay as I
have my own sat nav so I can navigate which may have swayed the employer to employ her.
I wonder if my employer will buy me some slip on shoes as I have trouble tying laces due to a
condition that may be covered by the DDA. Darn I work for myself and therefore I will have to take
responsibility for this. Maybe a tack that more people should try.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Dyslexia & Sat Nav's
Hi Everyone,
I would appreciate your opinions.
Would you consider a sat nav/Tomtom to be a reasonable adjustment for
someone with dyslexia who travels around daily & is unable to use maps? The
employee did declare at pre employment that she used one but it has broken &
her manager has refused to replace it.
Many thanks,
Angela
