Hi all,
Related to Tony Wilson's questions about zero bad channels after
autobad, I unfortunately discovered a bug which affects both
MaxFilter 1.2 and 2.1.
In Tony's files, the stimuls channel STI101 has always non-zero values.
This happens when a trigger line is constantly active, e.g. with
finger pads. In such cases, maxfilter in practice skips the autobad
scanning
of raw data.
The only way autobad can be done in this case is to set '-autobad 1',
because it follows a different path and scans data blocks one by one
instead of doing a separate sweep in the beginning.
You can however use tSSS (option -st) normally, especially to avoid
possibly undetected bad channels.
I hope that this problem does not cause too big inconvenience.
Best regards, Jukka
