medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
On all other occasions your eyes are
able to adjust to the dark very easily, even our modern eyes. Our world is
heavily over-lighted anyway.
Possibly OT but
I once had to walk from the bus stop to my caravan in a farmer's field (a
distance of about two miles) by starlight and nothing else (not even a
moon). I was AMAZED how well I could see once I was clear of the village
where the street lighting ended. Admittedly there were no clouds.
