Funded PhD studentship - Experience of late medieval worship
Dear colleagues,
May I ask for your help in finding a research student?
At http://www.bangor.ac.uk/cah/ahrc-phd.php.en you can find details of
a fully-funded PhD studentship related to the AHRC/ESRC three-year
funded research project 'The experience of worship in late medieval
cathedral and parish church', based at Bangor University but including
partnerships with Salisbury Cathedral and St Fagans National History
Museum of Wales.
Please can you draw the studentship to the attention of any
prospective student you think suitable? This is an interdisciplinary
project, so the student may come from one or more of a number of
different disciplines, but with relevant experience of late medieval/
early modern study and appropriate research training. The closing date
for applications is 22 October.
The timetable is constricted by the AHRC/ESRC Religion and Society
programme, and we are looking for a student to start almost
immediately (1 December 2009, or very shortly after). The studentship
includes fees and stipend at normal AHRC levels, but is subject to the
AHRC rules. It is therefore available to UK applicants, and to EU
applicants who have lived (not just studied) in the UK for at least 3
years.
